I’m not sure if this issue is related to something else. I recently switched from 2degrees to Kogan mobile. This is right after Kogan introduced a yearly plan for 198$, which is half the price of other providers. Right after switching to Kogan, I noticed my phone battery drains much faster than before. Do any of you noticed this issue? Thanks
I am using Kogan Mobile SIM for last one year and never noticed such an issue. Anyway I am using a Samsung phone not an iPhone. I have read somewhere that if the mobile coverage is less, phone optimize itself to get more coverage and thus uses more battery. Please have a look if this information helps.
I was searching for this issue online and got to this page. Yes. I am also facing battery issues after switching to Kogan. I am on the iOS 18 version and living in Christchurch City. We do have enough coverage so I don’t think the low network coverage is causing the problem. Just waiting for the latest iOS version to release so that I can test whether the iOS software is making the problem. Other networks are ripping off so not planning to move from Kogan to any other network.
