I recently finished my CAP course and got my APC. But on my APC document, it is showing practicing under section 30. Can I apply for jobs if my APC showing this status?
Hi Emily, not sure if your situation is same as mine. I recently completed my CAP course and got the registration. Then I applied for APC and the same day, I got my APC with “practicing under section 30” condition. It was because of the declaration we did during the APC application. I do have more than 3 years of gap in my career. So I am sure that was the reason why this condition come on my APC. Since I have done the CAP course, the 3 years gap is fine. I contacted nursing council and received “Practising Under Section 30’ is the status that will show when a nurse has applied for an APC and their declarations need to be reviewed by us, or we are waiting for something from the nurse.” response. After my email, they quickly reviewed my declaration and the condition got lifted in 1 hour. Now my status is showing “practicing” instead of “Practicing Under Section 30”. I don’t know whether you can work with this condition. Someone with more experience might reply here.
