    During our last Auckland visit in 2023, we had lunch at Cotto Italian Restaurant, which was somewhere on Karangahape Road. The food was great, especially the gnocchi and the lamb ragu. I couldn’t see the restaurant anymore on Google and saw a similar restaurant called 0tto Restaurant. Did they change the name recently? Can anyone confirm whether the restaurants are the same? Cheers.

    You are right. The restaurant had recently changed its name from Cotto restaurant to Otto restaurant. What my understanding is that the business is under new management and a couple of chef are the same. So you will get food with the same taste. We recently went there on Mother’s Day and everyone liked the food. Goat cheese dumplings and beef cheek ragu were extremely delicious.
